Training and Education
Heather is a licensed Physician Assistant who works with Dr. Michael Weinstein. She assists Dr. Weinstein in surgery as well as in the office. Heather scope of practice includes physical exams, diagnosing conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and writing prescriptions.
Heather received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Western University of Health Sciences. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from Chapman University. Heather’s interest in orthopaedics originates from her long history of dance and respect for human movement and function. "I truly enjoy being part of a team that aspires to restore functionality and well-being."
She is certified by the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and California Academy of Physician Assistants (CAPA).
